Well, you are not alone. HD is an exciting technology that brings with it many benefits and some mysteries. Like, why do HD cameras get damaged when transported at high altitudes? Or, what about the unexplainable lens flares, strange artifacts, bad pixels, or pervasive frequency damage from electrical interference? All the answers may not be available yet, but there are things you can do to make sure you get the best HD footage for your project:

Get your HD camera gear from a good camera house and make sure your budget includes adequate prep days for your crew. | |

Make sure you have good on-set data management and workflow set-up with you post team. | |

Be vigilant if you see something wrong on your monitor on set. | |

Check your insurance policy to see if you are covered for reshoots just in case. |
But if it's too late for all that, and you are stuck with the unexplainable lens flares, strange artifacts, bad pixels, or pervasive frequency damage from electrical interference, call us! We might be able to patch up your images so that you feel good about using your footage in your cut.
